James Rogers joins Cornerstone Hospice

Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care’s of Lake and Sumter County region has a new director. James Rogers, RN, CHPN, has been promoted to executive director of the organization.

As part of his duties, he will oversee all operations, including patient care and family support as well as outreach to medical providers and the community. Before becoming executive director, James was director of admissions for Cornertone’s seven-county region.

Raised in Central Florida, James received his nursing degree from South Florida Community College and has been working in areas of hospice care for more than 13 years.
