Women for Hospice Donation
For the eighth consecutive year, the Women for Hospice donated $100,000 to Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care. These funds are earmarked for hospice patient care in Lake County.
“Their giving inspires all of us at Cornerstone,” said Chuck Lee, CEO of Cornerstone Hospice. “They consistently demonstrate how much these ladies are willing to do to help the hospice mission. We remain ever grateful to them for their years of service and support.”
Since it began more than 25 years ago, Women for Hospice has raised $2.3 million through monthly luncheons, special events, and the resale store, Hospice Hope Chest, in Mount Dora.
Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care is the leading community-owned provider for end-of-life care in Central Florida. For 34 years, hospice care for more than 7,000 people in Lake, Sumter, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Hardee, and Highlands counties was provided each year.
