MS Awareness 5k in Minneola

The City of Minneola is hosting its inaugural MS Awareness 5k on Saturday, March 16, at the Minneola Athletic Complex, located at 13930 Education Avenue. The fundraiser is part of a week dedicated by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to raising awareness for people living with multiple sclerosis and raising money for continued research to find a cure.

Nearly one million people in this country are living with MS, according to the National MS Society. Recent studies reveal the prevalence of MS is equal across all states in the country and all racial and ethnic backgrounds.

All proceeds from the Minneola MS 5k will go to the National MS Society. You may pre-register to walk or run at City Hall or register the day of the event, which is scheduled to begin at 8 am.
