DOH reports first two deaths from coronavirus in Lake County

The first two deaths in Lake County from COVID-19 were reported Thursday, April 2, by the state Department of Health’s office in Lake. No information about the victims was provided.

As of Friday morning, there were 82 cases of coronavirus in Lake County and 66 cases in Sumter County, according to the Florida Department of Health’s COVID-19 Data and Surveillance Dashboard. In Florida, there were 8,694 reported cases.
