AdventHealth Waterman names new director of finance

AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares has selected Mario Duncombe to serve as the director of finance. In his new role, Mario is responsible for providing financial services and management to help achieve strategic and operational initiatives, a news release states.

Mario has 16 years of experience in finance and accounting and most recently served as the senior accounting manager for AdventHealth Hospice Care in the Central Florida Division, which serves Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. In his previous role, he was responsible for managing day-to-day functions related to patient financial services, revenue cycle and general accounting. He also handled the financial reporting and analysis for several AdventHealth joint ventures that constitute AdventHealth post-acute care.

A Tavares resident, Duncombe earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida and a master’s of business administration from Webster University.

AdventHealth Waterman has 287 beds and is one of the six hospitals in Lake, Flagler and Volusia counties comprising the AdventHealth Central Florida Division – North Region. For more information, visit http://adventhealthwaterman.com.
