Students may receive help with college funding from iSparkle if their efforts shine through. Organizers of the iSparkle Scholarship Program are looking for applicants ahead of a March deadline.

iSparkle, which stands for inclusion, support, protect, act, respect, kindness, lift spirits, and encourage, is an anti-bullying program co-founded by Villages entertainer Petrina. For more information, visit Petrina’s website at petrina.biz/isparkle-html.

Relatives of residents of The Villages who are graduating from high school and have shown a commitment to promoting inclusivity and/or anti-bullying efforts for their peers are encouraged to apply for a scholarship. Students from anywhere in the United States can apply as long as they have a relative living in The Villages. They also will need to show through a video application what they have done to promote the values of the iSparkle Scholarship, a news release states.

The scholarships are awarded each spring by Petrina and members of the iSparkle Board of Directors, who say they enjoy watching the video applications and seeing so many amazing, loving and caring students.

Petrina, as well as members of the iSparkle team, conduct annual events such as golf and bowling tournaments, a talent showcase and other shows and special events to raise funds. Donations also are appreciated.
