Mount Dora Posts Emergency Water Notice

The Mount Dora Public Works Department is on scene at 2702 U.S. Highway 441 due to a water line break behind the Mount Dora Plaza shopping center.  The line was quickly repaired, but a precautionary boil water notice is in effect.

The following addresses are affected:

2702 – 2750 Old U.S. Highway 441 – Mount Dora Plaza and the Mount Dora Post Office

Homes located at 2624, 2664, 2662, 2666 and 2668 McDonald Trail

2800 Old U.S. Highway 441 – CrossFit Gym.

Crews issued a precautionary boil water notice and have gone door-to-door to hand out the notices.  Samples will be pulled today and tomorrow and sent to a lab for test.
