LRMC and TVRH honored for workplace excellence

Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital have received the 2019 Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE) Seal of Approval and Health & Wellness Seal of Approval. That makes them two of only 44 hospitals throughout the country that were recognized for their commitment to creating an excellent workplace environment. AWE also recognized Central Florida Health as one of only eight organizations in the nation for its Best Practices Supporting Workers 50+ award.

“This recognition is a true testament to all of the hard work and healthy changes we have made individually and throughout our hospitals,” Juli Romero-Gomez, RN, coordinator of the Healthy You, Healthy Us wellness program at Central Florida Health, says in a news release. “We look forward to implementing more changes that support a culture of great health and well-being for our team members and community.”
